This is a request for help from Craig Howieson who will be competing at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games in the Table Tennis event for Scotland.
Craig was coached from a very young age by Tom Hook at North Merchiston Boys & Girls Club. Craig with a couple of others helped North Merchiston TT club dominate the Edinburgh League Premier Division for many years before concentrating his efforts on the National & International stage. Craig won a Bronze medal at the 2013 Commonwealth TT Team Championships and is now setting his sights even higher by setting a goal to achieve a podium finish at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games in the TT event.
Craig has decided to give up his current PE teacher role at Broughton High School and practice TT full time ahead of the 2014 Commonwealth Games to help achieve his life goal. Craig has a funding shortfall and is looking for stakeholder backing.
